Aaron and Tim planned a whole wedding weekend to bring everyone together and celebrate their love. Rehearsal took place at Historic Mankin Mansion and dinner was provided by a delicious pizza food truck, FiftyOne Pizza Co. Aaron and Tim started their wedding day by enjoying some breakfast together and relaxing with a nice massage before their busy wedding day began! They shared gifts, private letters, and a first look in the beautiful garden. Libby Hill Park was a special spot to Aaron and Tim, so they traveled there to take some photos with the wedding party. Before heading back to Mankin Mansion for the Ceremony, they enjoyed some drinks at the Hill Cafe where they had their first date and bonded over the fact that they were both grandma’s boys. The Hill Cafe later became the place where Aaron proposed to Tim with Tim’s grandmother’s ring.
Before the Ceremony began, Aaron and Tim enjoyed some bourbon with their dads. The Grooms were escorted down the aisle by their mothers where they met their officiant who has been their long-time friend. Once they were pronounced Husband and Husband, “House Party” by Sam Hunt began to play to celebrate their marriage. They enjoyed post-Ceremony bourbon and appetizers before going into family photos.
After Cocktail Hour, the newlyweds had their first dance to “One Great Mystery” by Lady A. A delicious buffet-style dinner was served by Lunch and Supper while their guests enjoyed a video montage of the couple. The rest of the evening was filled with dancing, dessert, and a photo booth, which is owned by Aaron (RVA Photobooth)! Before the evening ended, Aaron and Tim surprised their guests with fireworks on the patio. The newlyweds then hopped in the Bentley and lived happily ever after!
