We’d like to start off with talking about how thankful we are to have been able to host weddings safely here at Historic Mankin Mansion this summer. Each wedding has been beautiful in its own amazing way, and we are so excited to share the photos with everyone!
When you think about summer weddings, you’re picturing a warm, sunny, dreamy day, right? You should be! Sometimes, however, mother nature doesn’t always have the same plans in mind. Sometimes, rain happens. It’s happened a few times this summer on our wedding days, but we never fret. We are prepared for anything that may come our way at the Mansion.
A little thing we like to say is that we have two Plan A’s for you! We have our gorgeous Garden Ceremony area that is very popular for any spring, summer, or fall dates. And then, of course, if the weather isn’t ideal, or you end up falling in love with our indoor ceremony space, we have our second Plan A, our romantic Gallery!
Restored in 2015, and hosting wedding ceremonies since 2016, The Gallery is one of our most prized areas on the property. Backed with beautiful brick walls, rows of chandeliers to brighten up an already beautiful event, and endless possibilities on how best to set up your ceremony seating, you will adore our Gallery. We would love for you to come by and see it for yourself!
