Winter Fairytale Wedding: Emily + Daniel

It is almost Emily and Daniel’s one-year wedding anniversary, so we thought it would be appropriate to feature their amazing wedding! They had a beautiful wedding in January with a light dusting of snow on the ground. It was filled with all of the wonderful characteristics that surround winter: fur shawls, pops of burgundy and forest green, candles galore, hot chocolate, and a stunning sunset. It was absolutely a winter fairytale wedding!

Before the ceremony, Emily did first looks with her dad, bridal party, and groomsmen. These all made for great pictures and she surprised the groomsmen with a pack of Ice’s that she was hiding underneath her dress! The ceremony began in the European Gallery with Daniel walking down the aisle with both his mother and grandmother, and Emily making her grand entrance with her dad to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Haley Reinhart.

During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed a full bar, appetizers, and a hot chocolate bar. The newlyweds and the wedding party were off to take pictures, which was THE perfect time. Scroll below to see the stunning glowy, sunset pictures they got. These are the kind of pictures you get when you base your ceremony start time off of the sunset time! A good rule of thumb is to start your ceremony about an hour and a half before the sun sets, so you are right in the beautiful “golden hour” time for photos after the ceremony.

The wedding party and the newlyweds had an EPIC grand introduction followed up by the sweetest first dance to “It’s Been a Long, Long Time” by Harry James. Their love for one another was so infectious it just filled up the grand pavilion tent! After the first dance, they had a delicious family-style dinner with passed champagne to start the toasts, and dancing to follow. Emily and Daniel definitely had one of the most fun dancing crowds we may have seen! The dance floor was packed the entire night; it was a party! The newlyweds enjoyed a private last dance as we lined up guests for their send-off. As Emily and Daniel ran through their guests, faux snow was tossed up in the air, making the perfect ending to a winter wedding! Make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to see this amazing grand exit!
